“I was introduced to Reality Town at a counselor conference, and have done the program for four years. Our school’s PTA was very enthusiastic from the beginning. The enthusiasm has only increased until now they just put out a sign up sheet at back to school night and they get more than enough volunteers. They see the value in it, and our teachers are equally as supportive. One told me today that he was so glad that I head this up each year. Reality town is an integral part of our school’s activities and 9th grade curriculum. It is on the school calendar every year. If I didn’t do it, our administration would find someone who would. It has been the most successful program I’ve started at Canyon View, and is getting better each year.”
